To take our mind off of what’s going on and relish in the community and fellowship that has been so integral to our lives.įor many, the idea of playing Dungeons and Dragons remotely seems unappealing at first.
Now, more than ever, we need the therapeutic release of being a bunch of nerdy ass people who sit around and play Dungeons and Dragons. For many of us, Dungeons and Dragons provides an escape from the challenges of every day life, a chance to live out our heroic aspirations and to just be somebody else for a while. After all, it’s an excuse to stay home and do nothing! Some of us may not even interact with people very much anyways! But many are finding that it gets old quickly and as the situation continues to unfold, some are faced with a growing sense of anxiety and depression. A lot of people found idea of social distancing appealing initially. As the number of coronavirus cases continues to rise throughout the world, the number of people who find themselves quarantined grows alongside it.
